I have been out on LOA since June. I've applied for short Tem disability, but only got 2 months worth of money. I'm 3 months behind in all my bills. I have applied for SSI and SS disability. But as yet it hasn't been approve, I can't fill for bankruptcy or Debt consolidation because I have no steady income. What can I do?

I was recently diagnosed with advanced Multiple Sclerosis. I was a truck driver for 26 years and the last five years became very difficult. I eventually couldn't even get into the truck. I didn't know what was wrong with me and I was eventually fired from my last two jobs. I was really scared because I am single and have no family to help me. No doctors would listen to me without yelling at me, telling me there was nothing wrong with me. Finally in June, a lady at a garage sale recognized my symptoms (I could hardly walk). I was diagnosed by a neurologist within two weeks. I was approved for Social Security Disability within three months. The problem is that my disability doesn't even cover the mortgage. I had to stop the payments on my house. When it is time to leave, I have no where to go and my condition is so bad, I cannot work. I love my little 900 sq. ft. house that is in the country. It's one level so that when I have to have the wheelchair full time, it will be easy to put a ramp in. I pray for someone to step in and help me in this situation. Elane Keenan - P.O. Need HELP... PLEASE...had a Heart Attack haven't been able to work for 3 months, been in and out of hospital. No FAMILY living, to turn to except ex-wife which had cancer and can't support all my needs....HARD to get CREDIT for HELP, with bad credit from previous marriage...I stand a chance on losing everything and out on the street with a bad heart..I've tried everywhere...there has been no one out there to help....

HI my is Stephanie. I am a single mom of 4, 2 boys, 2 girls, ages 7, 10, 13, and 16. In 2002 I came down with an unexplained pain in my abdomen that left me bed ridden for 2 years. In 2004 my OB/GYN thought he found the problem and did a total hysterectomy on me. I had been fine until June of this year. I hda been working at a job I loved with great people and bosses. In June the pain started again and I ended up missing too much work and was fired from my job. The same afternnon after I got fired I was hospitalized for a week. It turns out that I didn't need a hysterectomy at all. I have an anuerysm in my intestines that was small enough in 2002-2004 that it went un-noticed. It is larger now about 2 inches in size. It is cutting off the blood supply to that part of my intestines and has actually killed it. I am unable to work due to the fact that doing the wrong thing could cause it to rupture and kill me, leaving my 4 children motherless. The problem is, I don't qualify for Social Security Disablity either. I dont have a mortgage or anything but I am about to lose the only vehicle we have. I am 4 months behind on te payments. We live in a 2 bedroom 12x60 mobile home with only half the electricty working and the only water is in the tub. Thankfully we do have hot water. I had purchased a brand new 4 bedroom 16x80 mobile in 2000 but lost it when I was bed ridden so we had to fall back to the old trailer that was here on the property. My credit is shot from a divorce, an ex boyfriend, and illness. If anyone knows what I can do, to save my truck and get either a better home or fix up the one we are in, I would appriciate the help. I thought about Extreme Makeover Home Edition but the propety I am living on is rented from a guy that passed away 2 years ago that has no family and I have no idea how to get hold of anyone about buying it so I don't know if EM would be able to help us. Everyone I know says we should at least try but everyone on the show either owns their land or is at least buying it. I am at a loss of what to do. Can anyone please help me? I am not asking for money just some ideas on what to do.

     I am a single mother of two, who can't work due to an injury.  I am recently divorced due to a cheeting husban, and I have to start all over agin at age 41.  I was injured on my job, but they decided they did not have to pay my anything.  So I got a lawer to help me but this will take some time.  I can't pay my utilities or my rent, and I can't work.  My kids are starting back to school and I can't buy them clothes or the things they need for school.  It has been 25 year since I had to start over, I don't know where to start or what to do.  Will someone please help me for a little while until I can get back on my feet?

I am a single mother of one and would like to go back to school to get my LPN license at my local vocational center.  The program is one year long.  The problem is that the classes are monday-friday, 8-4 and I would be unable to work due to no babysitter in the evenings and on the weekends.  I really want to go back and financial aid will not be enought to live off of and pay my bills.  I want off welfare and I want to live in a nice neighborhood and raise my child, this is not possible right now and they only way to change it is to go back to school.  Can you help in any way or redirect me to who may be able to?
